Hi, i'm Aquilla and I’ve been part of the Merry Maids® family since 2008. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of meeting many amazing customers who welcomed me like family. This year, after 18 proud years as a cleaner, I embraced a new challenge by stepping into the role of Quality Control Representative—and I’m loving every minute of it!
While the position involves a lot of computer work (a whole new world for me!), I’m incredibly grateful to my supportive bosses who believed in me. Their encouragement helped me build confidence and rise to the occasion.
Outside of work, weekends are for road trips with my husband, and weeknights are for soaking in the tub—where, funnily enough, my best ideas always seem to bubble up!

My name is Samantha, but everyone calls me Sam. I first started with Merry Maids® Idaho before moving to Tennessee. I feel fortunate to find a Merry Maids branch in Chattanooga so I could still do the work I excel in. I have made many regular customers and take pride in the cleaning that I do for them. I am a grandmother of three--yes, three! I love the outdoors, keeping fit and traveling. In a way, this work is an extension of that--you are always moving and active, no two days are the same, and you're always driving somewhere. Yeah, this is the perfect job for me!

I am Debbie and I have joined Merry Maids® of Chattanooga since 1992. I have been cleaning homes for 33 years! Merry Maids provided me with a steady job after I got married. The time was flexible enough to allow me to care for my son. I love my customers, and they treat me like one of their own. I have never missed a day's work in all the 33 years of my stay here. When I am not cleaning, I am spending time with my son, baking, or at a tanning bed. I love my job, and I hope to keep working here for many more years to come.

Hi, I'm Kayla. I am the first cleaner hired by the new owners who took over the Chattanooga Office. I learned a lot about myself doing this job---one is that I am actually very good at it and two, I really enjoy it because I love meeting new people and talking with them and helping them keep their homes clean. I also have an affinity for animals and being away from my pets all day can be tough but getting to meet my customers' fur babies is a happy compromise. So far, the past nine months have been challenging but definitely rewarding.

Hello, I am Aleah. I have been working as a cleaner here since January of this year. I usually keep to myself, so the nature of the job works for me. I like to be thorough and make sure nothing has been overlooked. It makes me happy to be a part of this team and to know I helped our customers keep their homes clean. Outside of Merry Maids®, I enjoy drawing, traveling, writing and reading stories.

My name is Hailey, and I love making miniature rooms. This job inspires me a lot to pursue that creative hobby. Even though I have only been here a few months, I have had requests from customers to be their regular cleaner. That motivates me to do better every day. Our customers in Chattanooga are very sweet and cleaning for them is a pleasure, like visiting a friend. I love the work culture here as well. Everyone cooperates, helps each other out and looks out for one another. We always get the support we need, and we always feel appreciated and valued.

HI, I'm Joy. I'm a devoted mom of two, and I am no stranger to mess and cleaning. I have been working here for four months, and it has been a godsend for me. I love knowing I gave my customers my best work, and they were so satisfied with the service they received that they want me to clean for them regularly. This is what drives me. I have made many good working relationships with both our team and our customers. I love coming to a welcoming office that feels like a safe place, like home away from home. And when the work is done, I get to come home to my two beautiful children and just love on them.
